When logistics prevent NDT inspection of your parts in our facility, we can come to you. As a complement to our on-site capabilities, Hammitt & Associates offers a variety of field inspection services, including portable digital X-ray. We feature the Vidisco Razor X, a completely portable digital x-ray system capable of penetrating up to .750” of steel. The Vidisco Razor X system uses a laptop computer and associated thumb drives for data capture and evaluation—all powered by a single, 14.4 volt battery for the ultimate in portability. No external power sources are required. Our service area includes the entire Midwest and all field inspection assignments are conducted by highly skilled and qualified technicians.
